Course Delivery Methods

NSTA™ understands that not only do people learn in different ways. Our approach to training is structured, yet the method of delivery can be flexible, allowing people from different backgrounds and with different abilities to still participate and get the most out of their training experience with us.

Our dedicated Trainers are committed to work with each student individually to ensure the best possible learning outcomes. To support our inclusive training structure, we offer courses Face to Face and also a Flexible Delivery Option.

Face to Face training is exactly as it sounds, learning in a classroom environment face to face with a qualified, experienced Trainer. This method of learning allows students.

Flexible Delivery

Flexible Delivery is based upon an online training platform providing a quality interactive training experience to participants, this allows students to study in their own time and at their own pace, and attending the academy when they are ready for assessment.

Flexible Delivery is a true blended approach to training and assessment, reducing contact hours and inconvenience to students, whilst allowing students the opportunity to gain valuable nationally accredited qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning

NSTA™ offer RPL in all qualifications we offer:

WHAT IS RPL?

RPL is a form of assessment that recognises skills and knowledge gained through either formal training, work experience or life experience. If you are doing the job now you most likely have the skills already to earn a nationally recognised qualification.

Government Subsidies are available!

The Queensland Government Certificate 3 Guarantee Program will subsidise the RPL process for eligible participants in approved qualifications. So if you are eligible you will only be required to pay $the published student contribution fee (refer to our student handbook).

What is a Credit Transfer (CT)?

Credit transfer is a process that provides students with agreed and consistent credit outcomes for components of a qualification previously undertaken / awarded.

Simply said RPL recognises prior learning and experience, whereas CT recognises formal qualifications.

How do I apply for Credit?

Students when enrolling on a course will be asked if they wish to claim credit transfer (CT) or recognition of prior learning (RPL), if you wish to claim credit (either RPL or CT) please bring with you to your enrolment session copies of evidence, i.e. Resume, Job Descriptions, References , Copies of Prior qualifications etc.

Your assessor will work with you to document your application, to ensure credit is granted where available.

Can I claim 100% Credit?

Yes you can, all you need to do is enrol on a course and submit copies of your evidence to your allocated assessor, and we have an electronic credit procedure that documents the credit application process, making the process less stressful and enjoyable.
